ADHD & AuDHD Coaching
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and AuDHD (Autism Spectrum Condition and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) can bring unique strengths as well as challenges, and at times these may feel difficult to manage in everyday life.
ADHD/AuDHD Coaching offers a supportive, structured, and confidential space where individuals can explore these challenges and develop practical strategies tailored to their needs. By building a collaborative and trusting relationship, coaches help clients understand how ADHD/AuDHD impacts areas such as attention, organisation, motivation, and emotional regulation.
Coaches work alongside each individual to identify patterns, build self-awareness, and develop realistic, meaningful goals. This may include creating systems for managing time and tasks, improving focus, strengthening decision-making, and building confidence. The emphasis is on working with an individual’s strengths while addressing areas that feel challenging, helping them to function more effectively and with greater ease in daily life.
ADHD/AuDHD coaches have undertaken specialist training and often work in alignment with recognised professional standards. They may collaborate with parents, educators, or other professionals where appropriate, helping to create a consistent and supportive framework around the individual.
Sessions take place at a regular time, usually weekly or fortnightly, to provide structure and continuity. Coaching may be time-limited with clear goals, or more open-ended, allowing individuals to progress at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable for them.
